Permai Polyclinics Group was founded in 1997 by Datuk Dr. James Jeremiah, in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The name Permai Polyclinics was acquired because “Permai” denotes harmony and “Polyclinics” denotes mulltiple disciplines within a clinic.

Gauging an urgent need for prompt and personal healthcare by the public at large, as well as the employees in the corporate sectors, Datuk Dr. James had opened up the first clinic in Kota Kinabalu in September 1997, namely, the Permai Polyclinics Kota Kinabalu. Since then, the practice had achieved rapid pace of growth. It was the good intention of the Founder, Datuk Dr. James to bring quality healthcare services to the vicinities of the various communities in the State of Sabah. With such noble thought in mind, the concept of Permai Polyclinics Group was gradually conceived.

As the demand of its services continues to grow, the Permai Polyclinics Group continues to set up Branches in strategic localities to facilitate the convenience as much as efficacy to its clients and communities there. Currently, the Group has under its flagship a total of 37 branches in the State of Sabah, Johor and Kedah.

As clientele growth in all clinics has been swift and in the upward trend, Permai Polyclinics Group firmly believes that it has the right ingredients and capability to serve the felt needs of the Malaysian community by and large, and is currently preparing itself for national expansion.

As the Group expands, it is the Vision of the Founder to bring the Permai Polyclinics Brand of Quality Healthcare to all the major cities and towns in Malaysia and to other countries in South East Asia.
